CNC Machining

Cheras toolmaker working at a lathe in the toolroom
Horizontal and vertical machining centres and CNC lathes

Precision machining for cast and billet aluminium components. Standalone work accepted on customer-supplied parts and materials.

What we do

We machine aluminium to specification, whether the casting came from our own foundry or arrived from elsewhere. Drilling, tapping, milling, profiling and surface finishing, held to ±0.1mm typical tolerance and tighter on request.

Machining alongside a foundry means the part is understood before it reaches the spindle. Draft angles, shrinkage allowances, gating and machining stock are assessed at the design stage, so castings arrive with the right amount of material in the right places.

Machining stock planned into the casting at design stage

Machined next to the foundry. Machining stock is planned into the casting at design stage, so parts arrive with material where it is needed.
Castings and billet. We machine our own castings and components you supply.
Swarf goes back to the furnace. Offcuts from machining return to our Eagle Farm remelt facility.
