Capability
What we make and how

Casting, machining and ingot production at one Eagle Farm facility. One supplier and one point of accountability.
The three capabilities work as one
Most manufacturers buying a casting deal with three suppliers. A foundry pours it, a machine shop finishes it, and the metal came from somewhere neither of them can account for.
Cheras runs all three. We cast on permanent moulds and machine the result to ±0.1mm, with a remelt facility on the same site.
That closes two things at once. It closes the material loop, and it closes the gap where most casting projects lose time, which is the handover between foundry and machine shop when a part does not arrive with enough stock in the right places.
Our Capability

Gravity die casting
Permanent mould casting for aluminium components, from small end caps to lawn mower decks and light fittings.
To 800 × 600 × 400mm
Wall thickness from 2.5mm
Tolerance ±0.5mm

CNC machining
Drilling, tapping, milling, profiling and surface finishing, on our castings or on components you supply.
Turning to ⌀460mm
Travel to 1000mm
Tolerance ±0.1mm
Design and tooling

Every casting starts with a drawing and an assessment. We review draft angles, shrinkage allowances, gating and machining stock before any tooling is cut, and we tell you what needs to change to make the part castable.
Permanent mould tooling is produced in house or through trusted toolmakers.
Not sure which process you need?
You do not have to arrive knowing. Send us a drawing and a rough idea of how many you need, and our team will tell you whether gravity die casting suits the part, what it would cost to tool, and what the alternatives are if it does not.
Where our castings go
Automotive, mining, agriculture, industrial equipment, electrical housings, infrastructure, OEM manufacturing, and marine wholesale and hardware.
Have a part to manufacture?
Send us a drawing and we will assess it for manufacturability.
